| | FirstComp Selects A New Claims Manager And Richard Yrulegui Changes His Name--Sort Of
By Lonce LaMon - February 8, 2010Terri Thomas is now the claims manager of FirstComp Insurance in both Ontario, California and Henderson, Nevada. Terri comes from Nevada and from within FirstComp Insurance where she was a litigation manager. Rick Bosley, the previous claims manager, is no longer with the company.
The Law Offices of Richard J. Yrulegui in Fresno, California, have now changed their name to Yrulegui & Roberts. Richard Yrulegui started the firm in 1978 with a partner who stayed until the 1990s, at which time Richard decided to just use the name of The Law Offices of Richard J. Yrulegui.
Now that he has a lawyer partner in Steve Roberts, that mouth-full of a name has seized the opportunity to evolve into Yrulegui & Roberts. Which sounds good. It must be easier to answer the phone that way-although it still doesn't help people spell Yrulegui, which I think is a very challenging spelling test, and a pronunciation test, to boot.
Richard Yrulegui and Karen Dorian's son, Joseph Yrulegui, joined the firm in May of 2009. Karen is the law firm administrator. Therefore, the now Yrulegui & Roberts has four lawyers: Richard J. Yrulegui, Steve Roberts, Joel Campbell, and Joseph Yrulegui.
